Litchfield County is not like any other place in the country. And those who call it home, or their second home, are very aware of their good fortune. It's beautiful wherever you go and the unique, quaint towns have much to offer with colorful histories and all sorts of pleasures, from the hiking trails, skiing and outdoor activities to the restaurants and shops to educational and arts events for the whole family.
Here you can get privacy, a retreat of your own and experience the four seasons in all their splendor. Your neighbors are a wonderful and diverse group, weekenders and full-time, long time locals and newly minted residents.
Sharon Hartwick first came to the area as a weekender and became a full-time resident in 2004. She has a BA from the University of Minnesota and MS from Columbia University School of Journalism. She had a past career in the advertising business, as a creative director and marketer, before her transition to a real estate agent. Sharon worked for Young & Rubicam, Interpublic, and Della Femina & Partners as well as co-founding an agency in Greenwich. She also free-lanced as a journalist in Litchfield County, getting a behind-the-scenes look at what makes the small towns succeed and why there's such great community spirit that benefits everyone.
Sharon places a premium on trust, confidentiality and client satisfaction. Whether working with sellers or buyers, her goal is to develop a mutually respectful relationship, starting with understanding their needs and inner wants to guiding them through the purchase and/or sale process to the best possible outcome. And along the way, enjoying the journey.
