Barbara Owen joined the Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s International Realty (ASSIR) team in 2005 following a distinguished 24-year tenure as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Aspen, Colorado based Sport Obermeyer. The Sotheby’s International Realty brand is known as a global leader in real estate sales and ASSIR follows that direction with 34% market share in Aspen Snowmass and the Roaring Fork Valley.

Over $120 Million in sales demonstrates that Barbara’s work ethic and leadership in real estate sales is about knowing the market, building relationships, listening to the needs of Buyers and Sellers, communicating regularly and working diligently to exceed expectations and make everything come together. A southeast Michigan native, she graduated from Michigan State University and moved immediately to Colorado in 1982 to pursue her passion for living in the mountains.
