Mark Ruane

A seasoned real estate professional since 2004, Mark Ruane prides himself on exercising patience and communication while utilizing proven managerial skills. A highly respected figure within the residential marketplace, Mark's clients appreciate and recognize his strong passion and commitment to relationship building. Prior to joining Gibson Sotheby's International Realty, Mark served as the Vice President of Otis & Ahearn Real Estate for 11 years after previously working for ERA Boston Real Estate from 2004-2006.

Mark is part of The Moran Group, a full-service real estate consulting group whose principals are based on implementing a strategic and methodical approach toward all facets of the marketing, purchasing, and development of Residential Real Estate. Since joining the group in 2009, Mark has served as the lead buyer and seller marketing consultant and chief associate to the Founder and Principal. Over the past 5 years, Mark and The Moran Group has represented buyers, sellers, and developers in residential transactions totaling over $300 Million dollars while managing an investment portfolio of over 150 residential units for past clients.

Prior to relocating to Boston in 2004, Mark graduated from the University of Hartford where he was a Scholar Athlete for the Men's Division I golf program. He earned a B.A. in English, specializing in technical based writing and constructive literature studies. A proud South Boston resident, Mark and his wife Karen enjoy spending their free time at their home on Cape Cod with their two dogs, Juma and Maddock.
