Local Expertise. Global Connections.
Laura Dunphy brings a deep appreciation for the North Shore lifestyle and its communities to her work as a real estate agent at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. Raising her two children in the same hometown her husband grew up in, she’s been an active member of the local private school Parent Teacher Organization for several years. She served as President of the PTO for three years, working alongside the principal to liaise with parents, ensuring projects were successfully managed. Her in-depth knowledge of the hamlets and towns in and around Nassau County and the North Shore, along with an extended circle of friends and colleagues, are advantages she enjoys in her work as an agent. Before real estate, Laura’s professional background included work in the high-end retail and finance industries. She spent time in corporate sales at Tiffany & Co. in New York City and worked on the equity trading floor as a sales assistant for Morgan Stanley. After moving to Manhasset, she returned to retail sales for Ralph Lauren. Laura graduated with a double major in English Literature and Art History at Fairfield University in Connecticut. Her education took her to Italy to study Italian Renaissance Art. Throughout her life, she has gained a great deal of experience and an understanding of different cultures in her travels to other areas of the world, including the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, and many Western and Eastern European countries. Aside from the pleasure she experiences living in an area that is known for its rich history and hometown feel, Laura enjoys helping others discover the same. Whether it’s couples buying their first home, or baby boomers retiring and selling theirs, she is always at the ready to provide sound real estate advice and support so her clients can move on to their next big adventure.
