Biz was born and raised, as one of seven children, in New York City. Biz attended St. Lawrence University in Upstate NY where, along with pursuing academics, she fostered a love for the outdoors. Upon graduating in 1992, Biz followed her love of skiing and adventure west to Jackson Hole. It was there that she met her husband Doug. They married in 1996, settled in Wilson, and now stay busy raising their three teenage children Owen, Wyatt and Paige. All three children are avid ski racers with the Jackson Hole Ski Club and Whitewater Kayakers. When not chasing them around the mountains and down rivers throughout the west, Biz can be found skiing, hiking, trail running or floating the Snake River.
Jackson Hole has been an amazing place to call home and raise Biz’s family. She has been an active member of the community through her support of numerous non-profits, serving on the board of numerous organizations, over her 27 years in Jackson Hole.
