Born in Los Angeles and raised in Glendale, Alan Melkonyan found his love for real estate at a very young age. His childhood revolved around a single property, a 4-unit apartment building in Glendale, with each unit being occupied by a family member. Grandma and Grandpa in the bottom unit, uncles, aunts and cousins in the other two. They say it takes a village to raise a kid, but for him, it took a 4-unit apartment building.
Nervous, worried and excited, Alan purchased his first property, a condo in Van Nuys, CA. He rented out the condo to a lovely couple and was completely blown away with the experience. Since then, he has increased his inventory of properties and is constantly working towards increasing his passive income. After seeing the potential in real estate, he felt a sincere need to provide value to those who are also interested in real estate. Shortly after that thought, he became a Realtor and joined Sotheby's International Realty.
Aside from real estate, Alan loves to play basketball, travel and cook. Prior to becoming a Realtor, he helped run the family pizzerias in Atwater Village and Hollywood for over eight years, making him very familiar with the area and the great people surrounding it.
