Ernie, a native Angeleno, grew up on the border of Silver Lake and Echo Park and attended St. Francis of Assisi School and John Marshall High School. As a kid walking the rolling hills of the neighborhood, he dreamed of owning a Silver Lake home one day (specifically the type with high hedges in the front, and perched on a hillside in the back), and truly loved the small things that make the area so unique: lots of greenery, hidden staircases, winding streets, the views and the artists and musicians that decided to make the neighborhood home.
Ernie’s career in sales and service began in 2004 when he was hired at T-Mobile. After a few months of reaching top numbers in his store, he was promoted to assistant manager and his successes continued. In 2014, he jumped at an opportunity to join Madison Modern Home, an Eastside-based boutique staging company. At Madison Modern Home, Ernie became interested in homes and the housing market. With the sales and service experience gained over the last 14 years, he knew that becoming a real estate agent was the logical next step.
When he's not helping his clients find a place to call their own in the winding streets and hidden staircases of Silver Lake, his hobbies include a ferocious love for the Los Angeles Dodgers, fantasy baseball (he is a 2-time league champion), taking in live music at the Hollywood Bowl, language (he is fluent in Spanish), and experiencing the way travel, culture and food come together. Today, Ernie lives in Silver Lake with his wife Rachel and his cat, Fish.
