Prior to entering real estate, Tim O’Brien was highly successful in the financial world. During his extensive financial career, Tim was the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking for JP Morgan South America. He was also the Managing Partner of Focus Capital, an award-winning and top-performing fund in Europe; Lead Manager of 3G/North Sea Capital, a large family investment office; and Founding Member of B2W Digital, which is now the largest e-commerce company in Brazil.
Tim has combined his thorough understanding of financial markets with his knowledge of the local real estate markets, placing him in the unique position to successfully comprehend the needs of his clients, buyers, sellers and developers. In addition to Tim’s business acumen, his architectural training completes an exceptional agent platform, providing assistance in designing and staging as well as negotiation, pricing and market analysis.
Tim earned an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and dual degrees at Cornell University in Economics and Fine Arts. He now resides in Southampton, having owned homes in both Manhattan and on the East End for the past 25 years. Tim is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and has a working knowledge of French and Italian.
