Susan Holey’s educational background is largely quantitative with a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA. Her professional background as a news producer lends itself to the visual aspects and deadline-oriented business of real estate. Today’s technology-driven real estate industry requires strong quantitative skills but also keen understanding of how to effectively represent buyers and sellers in an increasingly digital world.
'Location, Location, Location.” It’s very important, but at any price point, few homes are perfect, but every home is perfect for someone or some family. Susan stakes her reputation on the idea that the right pricing strategy is the most important thing. Susan is data driven. She corrals data and analyzes it to determine what a home is worth. Whether buying or selling, it’s the most important part of the process because in Greenwich, homes that are priced right sell three times faster than homes that require price reductions. It’s that simple. She will also advise on how to best prepare a home for sale and create a multi-media marketing campaign targeted to the right buyers.
Susan graduated from Tufts University then studied for her MBA at Columbia Business School. In an unlikely next move, Susan found work she loved at NBC news, working as a producer for TODAY and Nightly News. She moved to Greenwich 20 years ago to raise her family and has been involved with local charities, her church, and is committed to supporting The Sandy Hook Promise, a non-profit dedicated to protecting children from gun violence.
