My goal is to foster a real estate experience that is informative, enjoyable and seamless. Personally, I take pride in being a good listener. Those I represent come to appreciate my persistence and passion in addressing their needs and desires. I have empathy for my clients as I feel I’ve personally been in their shoes; I’ve been a first-time buyer and seller, raised a family here and now enjoy life as an empty nester. Having two generations of Rye natives in my family affords a unique perspective on the lifestyle in this great town.
As a young man, I found myself intrigued by the real estate business. I credit this to my neighbor, Nick Beals, who was the top agent and ‘go-to’ guy if you were buying or selling property in Rye at the time. My early career path took a different direction, which involved years of extensive domestic and international travel. A question frequently asked, ‘If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?’ My answer was always the same; the seacoast of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. I am so happy to now be affiliated with premier agency Tate & Foss Sotheby’s International Realty.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
I attended the Rye schools, St Thomas Aquinas High School and the University of New Hampshire. After college, I started my career as a Sales and Marketing Executive, which culminated in an architectural design and construction industry focus. Throughout my years in business, I quickly established rapport, built credibility and cultivated lasting relationships with my clients. Most recently, I traveled across New England facilitating continuing education courses for architects, building officials, real estate agents and insurance agents. My presentations included topics such as building codes and regulations, including construction within the floodplain. I also conducted community outreach in conjunction with FEMA for homeowners in towns and cities throughout New England.
COMMUNITY & PERSONALITY:
Born and raised in Rye, I have deep roots in the seacoast area. After getting married, I moved back and raised my own children, Courtney and Parker, in the town that I love. As a child and parent, I was involved in many school and local organizations, including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Rye Education Foundation, Friends of the Rye Library and Seacoast Science Center. I am a member of the American Cancer Society, Fuller Foundation, Portsmouth Music Hall, South End Yacht Club, BPOE Lodge 97 and UNH Alumni Association. I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy watching and attending sporting events, kayaking, hiking and working around the yard.
'Peter was an invaluable asset in our decision to purchase a summer home in the Town of Rye. He is a trusted professional, a man of integrity who I wholeheartedly endorse!'
