Jacob began his real estate career nearly 15 years ago, shortly after receiving his bachelor’s and real estate degree from Georgia State University. He then worked for a real estate development firm in Destin, Florida where he acquired as much knowledge as possible early in his career. Always looking for opportunity, Jacob soon moved into the corporate world as he transitioned to the automotive parts distribution industry. He was responsible for directing sales teams which led to the participation in multi-million-dollar sales. His coveted successes lead to the formation of his own corporation, growing to the third-largest in the nation, which he eventually sold to his largest competitor for consolidation. His years of corporate experience in sales, strategic planning, conflict resolutions, and deal negotiations led to numerous accomplishments. These opportunities helped Jacob hone his negotiating skills and demonstrated his ability to manage high-stress, complex business transactions. And coming from the corporate arena, Jacob thrives in developing key relationships with C-Suite executives. Overall, his corporate knowledge proved to be a very useful asset when he decided to return to his true passion – real estate With a true love of helping people, his tenacity shines through as he relentlessly works to get his clients from the starting point to the finish line with as little resistance as possible. When he is not practicing real estate, Jacob can be found spending time with his lovely wife, MaryCatherine, his family and their cherished Bernedoodle, Cubby. A lifelong outdoorsman, Jacob passionately enjoys hiking, mountain biking, fishing, shooting sporting clays, venturing to nearby waterfalls or spending a quiet evening under the stars; he simply can’t get enough of the outdoors as it’s truly his refuge.
