Chris Whitehead

Chris Whitehead is a Managing Partner of Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty. A real estate industry veteran, he was one of the forerunners of the award-winning brokerage, ERE HOMES, which was acquired by Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty. Following the acquisition, Chris leads the Brokerage, Sales, and Leasing divisions of the company. Drawn to real estate at an early age, Chris began building property portfolios at age 18. At 21, he became the youngest ever recognised developer within the UK and commissioned, built and sold multiple private sector housing developments. As the UAE entered its initial boom, Chris intercepted the opportunity to increase his portfolio internationally and moved his young family from the UK to the Middle East. Alongside investing personally into the UAE property market, he combined his experience and knowledge and applied his project management background as a consultant to projects such as the RTA's Dubai Metro and Atlantis The Palm. As the UAE’s property market developed stronger, he focused his energy full time into the real estate sector and, by 2008, he became a familiar face in the property market managing large scale real estate agencies, whilst simultaneously assisting investment consortiums increasing their UAE portfolios. Chris’ other achievements include implementation of the first brokerage to run an external conveyancing for all sales and significant contribution in the implementation of brokerages using CRMs. He was also the first to implement internal listing compliance and real estate charity programs, as well as built an entrepreneurial mentorship program for 16-year-old students. Positioning to grow with the most prestigious global real estate brand, Chris’ goal is to make Luxhabitat Sotheby’s International Realty the leading full-scale real estate company. In five years’ time, he envisions the company as the largest and most prestigious property brokerage in the GCC. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Managerial Economics from the Canterbury University in the UK. In addition to his passion for real estate and competitive marathons, he is also actively involved in raising funds and promoting awareness for Dubai Autism Charity.
