Mr. William Charles Moore (“Chaz”) acquired exceptional government, political, and non-profit experience while living in Washington, D.C., and is currently combining his strong communication and sales skills with his savvy business acumen as a realtor. Chaz offers a unique energy and life experience to his real estate business. While working with Chaz, clients will not only realize all of their desired real estate goals, but will also truly enjoy the overall experience that he creates and fosters through his knowledge, dedication, honesty, integrity, and tenacity.
Chaz grew up in a real estate family and has been involved in the industry from a very young age. His father, C.W. “Chuck” Moore, founded C.W. Moore Realty in the 1940s, and became one of the premier cattle ranch and commercial property real estate brokers in California, Nevada, and Oregon, and handled some of the largest land transactions ever recorded at that time. Chaz worked for his father for many years before pursuing an interest in government and politics.
Prior to becoming a realtor, Chaz worked for more than 25 years in Washington, D.C. political, business, and non-profit sectors, and served in Senior Executive and management roles for several U.S. Presidents. Mr. Moore worked at the U.S. Department of State in the Senior Executive Service (SES), and as Director of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Chaz represented the United States and was the face of the U.S. State Department’s preeminent global public diplomacy program. He also served in the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy, and was responsible for developing private sector corporate participation in critical energy infrastructure programs. Upon leaving the State Department, and working with the Institute of International Education (IIE), and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, Chaz founded the U.S. Arab Leadership Program (USALP), a non-profit program aimed at promoting business opportunities and intercultural exchange. These rich and rewarding experiences inform his unique approach to real estate, and contribute to his success engaging with clients locally, across the country, and around the world.
Chaz began skiing in Park City and Deer Valley in the mid 1980s while living in Los Angeles, and has been coming ever since to enjoy the amazing beauty of this year-round resort. In 2016, his partner was offered a tenure-track university position in Utah, and Park City became their new home. Chaz embraces all aspects of this incredible mountain paradise, including skiing, mountain biking, and snow shoeing, and looks forward to the many more adventures that the region offers—as well as relationships he will cultivate through is work as a Realtor with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.
