The Baris Team

The Baris Team, comprised of Richard Baris, Nola Baris and Heather Baris, comes to Sotheby’s International Realty with more than 15 years' experience in listing and selling Hamptons real estate. With professional backgrounds in education, business and graphic design, each team member brings a different skill set to serve the needs of their clientele.

The Baris Team prides themselves on hard work, professionalism and getting results. Richard Baris’ early career involved working for his family's lumber and demolition business, which ultimately resulted in his creation of the successful Avalanche Wrecking Corp. Under his leadership, Avalanche helped transform the face of New York City in the 80s and 90s.

A former high school teacher in the New York City Public School system, Nola Baris became a top producing Hamptons real estate agent in a relatively short period of time. A licensed real estate agent since 2012, Nola quickly commanded a keen knowledge of listing inventory in the Hamptons and developed a great talent for successfully matching buyers with the right properties.

Rich and Nola are joined by Heather Baris, who owned a client driven communications business in Manhattan before turning her attention to real estate. With her background and training in graphic design, Heather has vision and can instinctively see what a house can become. She has partnered with builders and architects, and is well-versed in dissecting blueprints and building specifications as they relate to local town codes in the Hamptons. Heather and her husband, Andy Baris, are raising their school-aged children in East Hampton.
