Cormac and Wailani O’Herlihy bring an enormous wealth of knowledge about different cultures and experiences into their work as one of the top real estate teams in the Los Angeles area. As partners in marriage and business, they’ve worked for decades in Malibu and the surrounding areas of the Westside and Calabasas. Specializing in single-family homes and commercial properties, Cormac and Wailani know the ins and outs of the region like no one else.
Cormac’s interest in real estate began by way of his father who qualified as an architect and his brother, world-renowned architect Lorcan O’Herlihy. “Selling homes is in my family DNA,” he says. Throughout his childhood, his family traveled for periods of time throughout Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, England, and the former Soviet Union. The exposure to different cultures and their vastly different forms of architecture helped form a unique perspective that still comes into play today.
Wailani, originally from Hawaii, worked as a nurse in operating rooms, emergency rooms, and the NICU before joining Cormac in real estate. She also once sailed a boat from Kaua’i to Redondo Beach during the TransPacific Race. Her experience in high-stress situations allows her to stay level-headed during even the most intense of transactions, and her excellent bedside manner makes for smooth sailing in every client interaction.
When Cormac and Wailani aren’t working, you might spot them sailing together along the coast, spending time on the beach, or playing music. They both enjoy being outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle, and there’s nowhere better to do that than Malibu.
