Giovanna was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where she was bilingually educated in English and Spanish. In 2001, while she was studying Industrial Engineering in the university, she came to Aspen for her winter break. She instantly fell in love with the people, landscapes, and views. She wasted no time, moving to Aspen!!
She began a banking career as a Business Teller at Wells Fargo and grew to a Branch Manager at Vectra Bank. In 2006, she transitioned into hospitality and went back to school full-time to earn her Business Management degree. Paving way for her career opportunities and promotions, she received the 'Club of Excellence: Silver Star Worldwide Award' and by 2020 she was the Director of Services at the Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen.
In 2020, Giovanna realized that her expertise in our local housing markets, combined with her personal networks and her hard work ethic, would distinctly benefit clientele looking to buy or sell in the Roaring Fork Valley; so she made the transition to Real Estate.
Giovanna strongly believes in giving back to the Roaring Fork Valley Community that has given her so much over the years. Her main focus is on children's education and health. For the past few years, she has been the PTA Chair & Fundraising Chair at St Stephen's Catholic School and the founder of their annual Winter Gala. She has also been a member of the fundraising committee for the 'Wine Women & Shoes' & currently the 'Day of Rosé' events; both benefiting the Shining Star's Foundation.
At her very core, her family is her motivation. Her oldest daughter is a Columbia University graduate currently working in investment banking; her son attends St Stephen Catholic School, and her husband is the GM at the Courtyard by Marriot.
Their personal successes and support inspire and challenge her every day.
