Gregory Burke

Greg is the President and a principal within the corporation, serves on the board of Mendo Realty of Mendocino Inc. and is the managing Broker for both the Mendocino and Fort Bragg offices.

The Mendocino Coast became the home for Greg’s family in the mid 1970’s and after graduating from Mendocino High School in 1981, Greg received a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Sonoma State University in 1985, with an emphasis on marketing. Greg feels that communication and the ability to relate to people and their needs are the keys to success in any service related industry.

Greg served as the President of the local Association of Realtors in the year 2000. Following that year he also served on its board of directors for 2001, 2002, and 2009-2016. Currently he is serving on the board of directors for the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce and has served from 2015-2022.

In 2006, Greg moved from the small community of Comptche, just a few miles inland from Mendocino. While leaving a great rural community that he misses, and where he served on the Comptche Volunteer Fire Department for 12 years, he has grown to love what life has to offer on the Coast.

It was this same year that Greg became a shareholder in the Corporation and was named as the managing Broker. Now, as we near the end of 2022, Greg is very excited about the prospects and the future of Mendo Realty ( DBA Mendo Sotheby’s International Realty ). With the 60 year anniversary of the longest running and most successful Real Estate company on the Mendocino Coast being celebrated in 2023, the Corporation has newly welcomed Sarah Schoeneman and Justin Nadeau into the ownership group. The infusion of their passion for Real Estate, professional optimism, experiences, top level production and overall additions they bring as exemplary individuals gives Greg the promise that the stewardship of this legacy Real Estate company, founded in 1963, will continue well into the future.

Many changes continue to occur in the Real Estate business since Greg became licensed in early 1996. As a full time Realtor, Greg believes it’s very important to not only maintain an up to date understanding of the business but be prepared to meet the challenges ahead which will benefit the client and their investments.
