Jason Scism

Jason Scism has called Virginia home for over 20 years. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and his law degree from George Mason University. After falling in love with the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, Jason began splitting his time between Arlington and the Valley nearly a decade ago. More recently, he made the move to make Bryce Resort in Basye, VA his primary residence. Working with Browne and Associates multiple times as a client in the past, Jason jokes that the decision to join his real estate team was easy – but the Browne and Associates' track record of over $100 million in sales over the last few years didn't hurt.

In addition to real estate, Jason has spent decades working in and with government entities representing all branches of the federal government [both as staff and as a government affairs professional]. As such, he is keenly aware of the demands highly stressful careers can place on a person and a family. Jason's goal as a real estate agent is simple. He wants to help people find a balance between big city living and life in the country. The same balance that allows him to wake up happy every day.

Outside of his career Jason is an avid outdoorsman, loves karaoke parties, and takes epically long road trips for fun. His adventures have included jaunts north of the Arctic Circle, across the United States on dirt roads, and to remote parts of the Baja Peninsula.
