With an interesting background of international travel and residing in many places throughout the US and around the world, it is no wonder Tom and Clare Day are a perfect fit for real estate. Their journey started out courtesy of their fathers, each of them officers in the military – Clare’s father in the Royal Air Force, Tom’s father, also a pilot, in the US Air Force. Relocating and moving into new homes was, and still is, a lifestyle for them. Living in places such as England, Italy, Cyprus, West Berlin (then in East Germany), various other locations across Europe and more than half of the contiguous United States, they certainly know more than most about buying and selling a home! Ask what sets them apart and they can dive into experiences about moving which many who have remained in place for decades know nothing about. These two agents certainly know a lot about moving, real estate transactions, settling into new environments and leaving the familiar behind.
Tom and Clare also share a fortuitous collaboration of higher education, which amplifies their talents and skills. Tom has advanced degrees in business management, process improvement and strategic planning. After 30 years in corporate executive and management positions with Fortune 500 companies, Tom obtained his real estate license to work alongside Clare, bringing a striking set of business skills and team development. His drive to get from contract to close smoothly and efficiently, working with every settlement service provider involved in the process, and keeping that team of professionals on track, is remarkable.
Clare’s education is in Behavioral Science, Exercise Science, and related human studies. She brings the art of engagement from her 30 years of working closely with clients in the health and fitness industry - an industry as personal and emotional as real estate. Along with working in the fitness industry, she first became a Realtor in the early 90’s, hanging up her license for several years to engage in fix and flip projects before picking up her license again a few years later. Her wit and energy keep a mostly stressful journey entertaining and memorable, while her concise listening and acute sense of reading clients well leads to outstanding results. Trained, educated and skilled in communications, Clare moves eloquently through tough negotiations and delivers impeccable service.
Born in California before moving around the globe, Tom saw his lifelong dream of living in Colorado come to fruition nearly 20 years ago. Originally from England, Clare came to Colorado over 30 years ago and knew this was her forever home. Together they share the same love of the outdoors with their passion for mountain biking, hiking, and skiing. They are your perfect couple as they work diligently and impeccably together successfully bringing transactions to close.
