Ben Bahnsen

Ben has been fortunate to call Bend home since the summer of 2019. A transplant from Montana via California, him and his husband, along with their 4 furries, moved to Bend from Chico, CA after his husband accepted a professorship at OSU Cascades. Ben was raised in Texas and then attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD where he studied sociology and psychology. He served two years with AmeriCorps, National Civilian Community Corps where he traveled throughout the U.S. completing various work with local non-profits. Through his tenure with AmeriCorps he was deployed with American Red Cross Disaster Relief and fought wildland fires with the Maryland and Delaware DNR.

Ben joined the real estate arena with a resume highlighted by restaurant management, catering management, and twenty years of customer service experience. Prior to moving to Bend, he obtained his CA Real Estate license and closed several transactions with Blue Team Realty located in Paradise. Honesty and integrity, peppered with his fun-loving witty personality, are the virtues Ben possesses that make working with him a true delight. His strong work ethic, due diligence, and innate drive for your happiness are the foundation to you receiving the best service this side of the Cascades.

When not selling Deschutes County homes you can usually find Ben at the park or on the trails taking his pups Mabel and Bernie for an adventure. He and the hubs could also be spotted at a watering hole near you sipping on frothy refreshing brews. But more than likely, you will find him at any one of the local bakeries picking out a baked treat to devour.
