Villa Ashley is situated to the west of Montalcino, an area renowned for its beauty and for its phenomenal wines, especially the famous Brunello di Montalcino. The property is in a spectacular position, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, cypresses and with views of the surrounding hills.

This beautiful estate is in the heart of the Montalcino vine-yards, where Tuscany's most celebrated wines are produced. The nearest village is the charming village of Montalcino. The coast of Tuscany, the historic cities of Pisa, Florence, and Siena, and the famous Maremma countryside are all a short distance from the beautiful estate. The villa also offers a beautiful swimming pool and grounds to explore for those who would prefer to repose within the property.

The villa was recently restored and furnished with style and care, honouring its classical Tuscan style while providing all modern comforts. The house has been featured in several books and magazines, including House and Garden, Elle Decor and Tuscany Interiors. The rooms have been painted and furnished throughout in warm yellows and terracottas, which blend seamlessly with the brick tiled floors, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and sunny open spaces.

The villa can welcome up to ten guests and can accommodate an additional six guests (up to 16 guests total) with a detached dependance. The main villa includes five bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The guesthouse (which requires an additional reservation) offers an additional three double bedrooms for larger parties. The main house includes a charming, fully-equipped kitchen and dining room; a magnificent living room with vaulted ceilings, which opens onto a lovely terrace with vines, pots of flowers and extraordinary views of the countryside; an additional sitting room with a television, fireplace, and sofa-bed; and a covered dining terrace, also with wonderful views.

For smaller groups, Villa Ashley can be rented for 10 people as well as for 12 or 14 guests.
