Pazo dos Correa: history and legend.
In Goián, Tomiño municipality, right in front of the Portuguese town of Vila Nova de Cerveira, we find this jewel of history, which over the years has witnessed countless events, and now awaits a new future that will restore all its splendor.
The property, with almost 100.000 m2 of surface, that extends to the border of the Miño River, 2 km from the pier of Goián to the bridge that unites Spain with Portugal, lodges several constructions, among them, the Casa-Pazo dos Correa and a new building next to the pier.
The Pazo, dating from the 17th century and reconstructed in the 18th century, is a stone building, a magnificent example of Galician Baroque, which preserves a coat of arms of the Correa family on its main façade. With two floors of approximately 700 m2 in its current distribution has large rooms that have been the framework for weddings and other celebrations.
In the annexed building, on two floors with a main staircase, there are currently 14 bedrooms with their bathrooms, 7 on the upper floor and 7 on the lower one.
The third building of the historical complex is completed by the old stables, the winepress and the caretaker's house, which currently serve as a warehouse and multipurpose areas.
Attached to the stone wall that surrounds the Manor House, we discover the small chapel with a belfry, which can be accessed from the inside and also from the outside of the wall, where the vestiges of the small tower that gave the group its popular name, Casa da Torre de Goián, can be found.
Part of the property are the new buildings right next to the pier and the San Lorenzo fortress, which have a cafeteria, a heated swimming pool, 8 small apartments, two tennis courts on the banks of the river, an outdoor swimming pool and garages.
At 50 km from Vigo, 22 km from Tui and 17 km from Bayonne, being part of the Natura Network, we highlight without a doubt the investment opportunity that this property represents for its development and exploitation.
