The Sotheby’s International Realty® Global Networking Event (GNE), which took place from September 25th to September 27th in Las Vegas, Nevada, brought together approximately 2,400 members of the Sotheby’s International Realty network, with more than 155 of the brand’s companies represented from 34 countries and territories worldwide – topping last year’s event as the largest in the history of the company.
At the GNE, members of the Sotheby’s International Realty global team were afforded the ability to network with their peers from all over the world as well as attend breakout sessions featuring subject matter experts and visit a MarketPlace with all of the event’s sponsors.

During the event, Kevin Thompson, the brand’s chief marketing officer, announced the LIVE Sotheby’s International Realty campaign; a transformative visual experience that captures the essence of the brand, the LIVE campaign embodies the sentiment that your best life begins with a home that inspires you.
In addition to learning and networking opportunities, this year, the Sotheby’s International Realty brand’s charitable partner, New Story attended the event. New Story, which builds communities of homes for those in need for $6,000 USD per home, challenged attendees to pledge 100 homes for a new community in Mexico. At the end of the event, attendees surpassed the goal by pledging over 150 New Story homes.
Martha Stewart, founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Jeff Hargett, senior corporate director of culture transformation at The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, were the keynote speakers on the event’s mainstage. They joined Philip White, president and chief executive officer, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC; Francis X. Santangelo, senior vice president of global operations, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC; and John Peyton, chief executive officer, Realogy Franchise Group, during the course of the proceedings.
