Light-seeking <\/span>Leo needs room to roam<\/span><\/a>, while <\/span>Gemini wants a house<\/span><\/a> to keep up with their ever-changing interests, and Virgo loves a clean, unfussy home. As Virgo\u2019s zodiac season gets underway (August 23 to September 22), it\u2019s time to ask: how do you design the perfect home for a Virgo?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ideal Virgo home is \u201cclean, simple, refined,\u201d says <\/span>Anthony Perrotta<\/span><\/a>, an astrologer and interior designer based in Providence, Rhode Island. They also love \u201ca clean line, light bright colors and natural accents.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A stunning <\/span>5,267-square-foot home<\/span><\/a> in pricey Tarrytown, west of Downtown Austin, hits the right buttons. Beyond its boxy modernist exterior, the home features jambless doors with recessed hinges and flush doors without trim to give the illusion of nonstop lines. The spa-inspired bathrooms are finished in Quartzite while hardwood floors flow throughout. Pop-up outlets, recessed HVAC vents and a single wide door to the three-car garage keep things looking tidy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Virgos detest clutter and like a more streamlined look, says Perrotta. So, it\u2019s best to keep patterns to a minimum and double down on smart storage solutions, as in this streamlined and elegant <\/span>apartment in central Madrid<\/span><\/a>. \u201cThink natural, easy or effortless,\u201d says Perrotta. \u201cThere is sometimes nothing more beautiful than simplicity, and Virgos have mastered the art of this.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A <\/span>Napa Valley compound<\/span><\/a> on six sweeping acres embodies this ethos. With its breathtaking backdrop of the Stags Leap Palisades and Mayacamas Mountains, the property offers plenty of indoor-outdoor spaces, including a gym with retractable glass walls and a chef\u2019s kitchen with easy access to the covered loggia\u2014and nearby vineyards. The guest house is also a perk, notes Perrotta, as it provides \u201ca nice separation of space and somewhere clean for guests to land without disrupting Virgo\u2019s routines.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a sign that sweats the details, Virgo may also find older homes appealing. A <\/span>Haussmannian flat<\/span><\/a> built in 1910 steps away from Avenue Victor Hugo in Paris\u2019s 16th arrondissement has plenty of charm with soaring ceilings, intricate moldings and Versailles parquet flooring. Contemporary furniture keeps things feeling fresh, while three expansive suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom and dressing room, heighten the feeling of privacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of palettes, Virgo is drawn to colors tied to Mercury, its ruler, or itself: cream, white, beige, brown, dark green, navy, light blue and purple. \u201cLess is always more for them,\u201d says Perrotta. Light wood and stones are ideal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimately, Virgo wants their home to be as functional as they are. \u201cThey want the quality to be in the craftsmanship and the details,\u201d says Perrotta, and it should feel well-organized and modern. \u201cThey need a home to bring them a sense of calm so they feel clear and focused.\u201d Summing it up, he says, \u201cEfficiency is key!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
