Coronado Golf Course, located in the affluent coastal community of Coronado and just minutes from Downtown San Diego, has been one of the highest quality public golf courses in the country since opening in 1957. In 1966, because of the construction of the Coronado Bridge impeding on the course, the first nine holes were redesigned to their present configuration. Wide fairways and great views of the San Diego skyline, San Diego Harbor and Hotel Del Coronado, combined with great weather, make Coronado Golf Course a great choice to play any day of the year! The course was given a four-star rating by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Places to Play” and was named “Best Value in Southern California” by greenskeeper.org in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011.
