Arlington Court

Arlington Court at a Glance

Sotheby's International Realty
Exclusive Arlington Court is a controlled-access subdivision bordering Memorial Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the country. Originally slated by the famous Hogg brothers for residential development, they sold the land for the park at cost to the city of Houston in 1924 as a memorial for the soldiers who perished in World War I. The Hoggs then shifted their new subdivision, River Oaks, to acreage south of Buffalo Bayou.

Arlington Court is enhanced by Memorial Park’s mature trees and dense woodland, and by the rolling terrain along Buffalo Bayou. Homes range in price from near $1 million to upwards of $1.5 million. The neighborhood holds great appeal for empty nesters, and professionals who work downtown enjoy the quick and easy commute east on Memorial Drive.
