As a resident of Newport County's Aquidneck Island for over 30 years, Whitney has an excellent sense of the local real estate market, and is sensitive to the likes, needs, and wishes of clients as they look for the perfect property. She developed her eye for detail through a career in interior design, and personally buying and renovating several properties. Originally from the Chicago area, Whitney spent summers in Weekapaug, Rhode Island during her youth. She recognized Rhode Island as a special place and relocated to the area after graduating from Hobart and William Smith colleges with a major in History and Art. She continued her design passion with several classes at the Rhode Island School of Design over the years. While raising three children, Whitney has been involved in many school committees, has served on a school board, and helped co-chair a successful capitol campaign.
In her spare time, Whitney likes to help friends stage and update their homes and is currently working on another house-build on the Island. Her family enjoys travel, gardening, and boating along the iconic Newport, Rhode Island coastline.
