Kristan Cassidy fell in love with Newport decades ago when she and her husband started spending summers in the City by the Sea. Summers then grew to Fall and Winter weekends until they finally moved from Washington, D.C. and happily made Newport their permanent home. Kristan’s experience gives her a special and important perspective when searching for properties. Whether on behalf of a seasonal visitor or for someone looking for a beloved year-around home on Aquidneck Island, Kristan brings insight, knowledge and the ability to listen and prioritize her client’s interests in each transaction.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Kristan enjoyed a 25-year career as an attorney, first in Chicago then in Washington. She retired as a partner in Washington’s oldest law firm. Her specialty in contracts and negotiation is an invaluable asset now as a realtor when working to deliver the best possible results for both buyers and sellers. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy entertaining family and friends at their lovely waterside home, travelling to the Hawaiian Islands as often as possible, and walking their chocolate lab, Truffle, along Newport’s beautiful coastline.
