Prior to her successful real estate career, Katie worked in broadcasting and news journalism at ABC News for 13 years. During her time as a field producer, she quickly became someone her colleagues looked to during stressful times. Katie, the consummate professional, remained calm under pressure and proved to be the voice of reason, always focused on the most efficient solution to any problem. She honed her ability to keenly read people and became an expert at putting the many pieces of complicated situations together, seamlessly.
