Home to Keystone Resort, originally constructed in the 1970s by the Ralston Purina Company, the Keystone Resort ski area occupies three separate mountains; Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and The Outback and includes 5 Bowls (Independence, Ericsson, Bergman, North and South Bowls) for skiing at every level.
Keystone is also the closest place to stay for those who would like to ski Arapahoe Basin, where a summit altitude of 13,050' ensures some of the top snow conditions in Colorado. True ski enthusiasts have the opportunity to ski both mountains in one day, as Keystone and A-Basin are on the same lift ticket. A complimentary shuttle from mountain to mountain allows residents and guests to make a spur of the moment decision each morning as to where to ski or ride on any given day.
In winter, an array of unique activities are offered at Keystone, including night skiing, CAT skiing , tubing, and dinner sleigh rides.
Summer activities at Keystone include hiking, mountain biking, fishing, trail running, golf on two championship courses, and paddle boating on Keystone Lake.
One bite of food from any of Keystone’s eateries gives the impression that Keystone is a town for foodies. Harkening back to the mining days, the Snake River Saloon, a cozy restaurant with an authentic ski town atmosphere, has been dishing up unique culinary fare and libations since the 1970's.
Residential options are varied and include luxury condominiums, single family residences and ski-in/ski-out properties - all of which hold a high value proposition for rentals.
