Kris Forks

Born and raised in San Antonio, Kris spent much of his childhood learning to evaluate homes, ranches and commercial properties throughout the Texas Hill Country. Among other things, his father successfully invested in Real Estate. He gave Kris the managerial background needed to navigate the ins and outs of various markets and negotiate deals.

After graduating from Texas A&M University (Class of ‘95), his entrepreneurial spirit led him to open a restaurant in Beeville, Texas. Kris’ next business venture was opening a truckload brokerage firm after moving to Boerne, Texas, in 2002. Kris also is an accomplished silversmith, meticulously crafting unique wearable art from silver and turquoise. In all his ventures, Kris has learned the importance of communication, client relations, and attention to detail. These qualities, coupled with his love of real estate, made for a natural transition into a career as a REALTOR®.

Kris is well-traveled, having visited most US states and many countries in Europe, Africa and Mexico. However, his favorite places to visit are the desert SW regions of the US. You will find him hiking and backpacking our most secluded National Parks whenever he gets the opportunity. He finds peace in primitive camping and unwinding in nature

He also enjoys challenging himself and taking his mental and physical abilities to the limits. Completing his first 52-mile Ultra Marathon, the Cactus Rose, was a significant milestone and test of sheer determination and will. His latest venture led him on a seven-day trek to summit Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and he has a Peruvian trip to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in his sights for the coming year. This tenacity that drives Kris to succeed in these endeavors will also work day in and day out to make your real estate transaction smooth and seamless.

Most of all, though, Kris enjoys time with his two children, Hallie and Tristan. They are the reason he gets up every day and the reason he strives to be the best that he can be. They are his ‘Why’.
