Queen Village is considered the oldest neighborhood among all of Philadelphia and is still residential and very historical in its character.

About Queen Village
More than 800 structures in the neighborhood are on the Philadelphia Historical Register. This concentration of 18th- and 19th-century structures (along with a just a few unique-for-Philadelphia wood houses from the late 1700s) creates some very charming streetscapes. Here and there, more recent in-fill construction has created some spectacular homes tucked among the Federal, Greek Revival and Italianate brick houses.
