Ocean Reef is just 50 miles south of Miami. Charter flights may be arranged from the private 4,456’ airstrip. Yachting is a way of life at Ocean Reef, and the Club’s 175-slip marina easily accommodates yachts up to 175 feet (8 ft. draft) in length while offering fuel and pump-out services.
Ocean Reef Club was originally established in 1945 as a private fishing camp. The format of the Club eventually changed in 1969 when it became a privately owned corporation. In 1993, the property owners purchased the community, converting it into a private equity Club. Today, Ocean Reef Club proudly maintains its historic reputation as one of the finest private communities in North America.
Membership at Ocean Reef includes two private membership opportunities: social and equity memberships. Social memberships are for families that do not want to own property at Ocean Reef and include initiation fees and annual dues. Equity memberships are for those wishing to purchase a property in Ocean Reef or the Key Largo Anglers Club communities.
