Originally from Pennsylvania, Richard and Joan Perose were childhood sweethearts and have been married for 36 years. Richard graduated from Penn State University as well as the Gemological Institute of America. He is a fourth generation entrepreneur with over 35 years in business as a jeweler and diamond broker. Joan earned a business degree and shared ownership responsibilities in their jewelry and art gallery. Richard and Joan discovered Amelia Island and instantly fell in love with the beautiful setting and peaceful lifestyle. They share an interest in classic cars, cooking, swimming and yoga. In their spare time they enjoy playing golf and walking the beach or on the paths in The Plantation. Richard and Joan are dedicated to introducing Buyers to the community they love and to helping sellers optimally position their homes, including marketing the Amelia Island lifestyle.
