Property analytics and services provider CoreLogic named Nevada number one in the country for home price appreciation for the month of June, according to an article in the Reno Gazette Journal, with a year-over-year home price increase of 26.5 percent.
Reno-Sparks reported a 26.2 percent gain in home appreciation since June 2012, and Nevada more than doubled the 11.9 national appreciation rate.
Home prices in the United States have been on the rise for sixteen consecutive months, with the fastest appreciation seen since 1977 between January and June of this year.
Other states among the top five in home price appreciation include California, Wyoming, Arizona and Georgia.
