LODGING SUGGESTIONS
With the excitement around all of the new snow in Lake Tahoe, lodging in the Valley is starting to get tricky so don’t wait too long to reserve a room if you’re planning to stay.
Resort at Squaw Creek Resort at Squaw Creek is the most upscale, but you will need to drive over or hop on a 3 minute shuttle to the conference venue (it’s pretty easy).
Village at Squaw Valley is a good option if you are only coming in for just Wed and Thurs nights. They just sold out for Friday and Sat nights.
Squaw Valley Lodge is a short walk to everything and right on the slopes and last I checked, they have rooms open Wed-Saturday. Use online booking code SSIR or mention Sierra Sotheby’s when you call.
PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn: They are already sold out for Wednesday night but rooms are open Thursday-Saturday -Call 800.323.7666 use code “Sotheby’s Realty” for 15% off best available rates for the dates of February, 24 through 28, 2016. Rates are per room, per night, plus 10% occupancy tax and $13.50 resort fee. Rates include hot breakfast buffet served in our lounge each morning. Rooms will not be guaranteed without a deposit but are available on a first come, first served, basis. Guests must leave a credit card deposit equal to entire stay upon booking. Deposit will be kept for rooms canceled within 14 days of arrival. Group rates are not available through online booking.
