October 27, 2021 – With local resorts reporting more than 36″ of new snow this week, ski season is off to an early start in the Sierra. Palisades Tahoe announced they’ll be open this Friday, marking only the third time to open in October in 72 years. The mountain will be kicking off the season with the Funitel, Gold Coast, and Shirley Lake, spinning 9am-3pm October 29-31.
