Incline Village, NV <\/b>(October 27, 2014) \u2013 Sierra Sotheby\u2019s International Realty is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Hamilton as their new Vice President of North Tahoe Operations. As a highly successful and respected real estate broker with a long history in the Tahoe region, Jeff is a welcome addition to the leadership team at Sierra Sotheby\u2019s North Tahoe group of real estate offices encompassing Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, Truckee and Tahoe Donner.<\/p>\n

As an Olympic medalist and four-time speed skiing world champion, Jeff believes that to be effective, focus, commitment and character matter. Jeff has applied these characteristics to a number of personal and professional endeavors, including building a successful real estate business in Lake Tahoe, contributing to community organizations, and raising a family with his wife, Carolyn.<\/p>\n

After graduating from Saint Mary’s College in 1988, Jeff moved back to the Sierra, where he had spent much of his childhood. While on a break from work, Jeff entered a speed skiing race. Six races later, he had an Olympic bronze medal. He went on to become the first person to ski 150 miles per hour, winning multiple world titles and taking the sport of speed skiing to a new level. In 1997, Jeff opened Hamilton Sports at the base of Aspen Mountain. Following the birth of their two daughters, Jeff and Carolyn moved their family back to Lake Tahoe.<\/p>\n

Jeff served on the Board of the Truckee Donner Land Trust and is currently serving as a Trustee of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy. Additionally, Jeff is involved with the 49er Foundation, the NFL Players’ Association and various other ski events that take place throughout the winter.<\/p>\n

Licensed in both California and Nevada, Jeff focuses on resort and lake front real estate. In his role as an agent, Jeff works primarily with luxury buyers and sellers. He enjoys the complicated and intricate details of lake front transactions, where land use regulations and multiple government agencies are involved.<\/p>\n

Jeff\u2019s dedication to the Lake Tahoe region and appreciation of mountain living offer a unique perspective to his role as vice president, one he feels intense pride about. \u201cI am excited to work even more closely with the best agents and Real Estate company in Tahoe.\u00a0I see my new role as an opportunity to share with Sierra Sotheby\u2019s agents the education, tools and tone I know are necessary to provide the highest level of real estate services to our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n
