Truckee, CA (November 21, 2016)<\/em> Sierra Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/a>\u00a0expands to the Village at Northstar.<\/p>\n

As excitement for another winter builds, this new office rounds out Sierra Sotheby\u2019s International Realty\u2019s presence at Lake Tahoe\u2019s \u201cbig three\u201d ski resort Villages; The Village at Squaw Valley<\/a>, The Shops at Heavenly<\/a> and now The Village at Northstar. This also brings the region-wide office count for the independently owned luxury real estate brokerage to a total of nine locations throughout Lake Tahoe and Truckee.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important for us to diversify our office footprint to best market the variety of high end properties we represent,\u201d says Peter Strand, Sierra Sotheby\u2019s International Realty President. \u201cThe lakefront market is an important segment for luxury real estate in Lake Tahoe, but we\u2019re equally committed to the ski, golf and farm & ranch lifestyles that we service throughout the region. Northstar is an integral part of that lifestyle property mix. As we\u2019ve seen our client relationships with the surrounding communities such as Martis Camp, Lahontan and Mountainside<\/a> continue to bloom, this new location in the Village at Northstar is a natural fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sierra Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/a> office footprint has nearly doubled since January 2015. However, according to Strand, they are still a relatively young brand in the Lake Tahoe\/ Truckee marketplace. \u201cIn 2011 we opened our first very small office in Squaw Valley and continued to grow gradually despite a market downturn. It was just last February that we opened our Downtown Truckee and Tahoe City Lakeside offices. Shortly after, we opened shop at Heavenly Village on South Shore\u2019s Stateline, and now, ten months later, the Village at Northstar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve come a long way in a very short time,\u201d says Strand, crediting their sustainable growth to an internationally recognizable and well-respected brand. In fact, the Sotheby\u2019s International Realty brand now has over 19,000 agents across 825 offices in 65 countries around the World. \u201cOne Hundred of those office are in Lake Tahoe\u2019s California feeder markets,\u201d he adds. \u201cOur trusted Bay Area relationships are obviously very important to our buyers and sellers.\u201d<\/p>\n
