Summertime in Tahoe means the lake is teeming with visitors, and locals come out in droves to revel in the sublime weather. <\/span>

\nNever is there a shortage of things to do from day to day. Events, live music, and epic adventures abound. Here are some ways to fill your Tahoe days as we welcome summer\u2019s return. <\/span><\/p>\n

Food, Wine and Street Festivals<\/b><\/h3>\n

Throughout the region, people celebrate summer at a multitude of exhilarating outdoor events featuring food, wine and street fare.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Head to <\/span>Truckee on Thursdays<\/span><\/a> between June 13\u2013August 29<\/strong> from 5-8:30 p.m. (except on Independence Day, when you\u2019ll find plenty of other ways to occupy your holiday). Historic downtown Truckee gets hoppin\u2019 weekly with live music, an eclectic food court, family fun, a beer garden and artisan vendors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Down the hill in Reno, <\/span>Food Truck Fridays<\/span><\/a> feature dozens of food, craft beer and dessert trucks along with a festive feel. Explore the area\u2019s mobile, edible offerings now through September 27<\/strong> from 4\u20139 p.m. at Idlewild Park.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On June 15<\/strong>, peruse the streets of Tahoe City for the annual Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty sponsored Tahoe City Wine Walk. Their stop on the tour will feature live music and varietals from\u00a0Double Bond.<\/a>

Catch live baseball and soccer this summer at Greater Nevada Field in Reno. Break out your foam fingers and team colors and support Northern Nevada\u2019s professional soccer team, <\/span>Reno 1868 FC<\/span><\/a>, or the <\/span>Reno Aces,<\/span><\/a> the Arizona Diamondbacks\u2019 triple-A, minor league baseball team. <\/span><\/p>\n

Recognized as a favorite stop among golf professionals, the Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR event takes place at Montr\u00eaux Golf and Country Club in Reno Tahoe. Montr\u00eaux is Northern Nevada\u2019s only Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course and provides a challenging, yet beautiful test for the top-notch PGA TOUR professionals.<\/span>

Every Sunday from June 16<\/strong> to September 1 between 4\u20137 p.m., catch <\/span>Concerts at Commons Beach<\/span><\/a> on the west side. While at Truckee Regional Park on Wednesdays, June 19\u2013August 28<\/strong>, hear music from a multitude of genres wafting through the trees from 6:30\u20138:30 p.m. at the <\/span>Music in the Park Summer Series<\/span><\/a>. Enjoy a cozy night out listening to live music on the outdoor patio at the AleWorX Y Taproom location (<\/span>where Hwy 50 & Hwy 89 intersect in South Lake Tahoe)<\/span> or dance at a silent disco at the AleWorX Stateline location.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From June 28-August 30<\/strong> enjoy Music on the Beach<\/a>, a free Friday night concert series held on the water’s edge in Kings Beach from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.<\/p>\n
