<\/a>Truckee, CA <\/strong>\u2013 Sierra Sotheby\u2019s International Realty welcomes Gretchen Sproehnle to their team of Lake Tahoe and Truckee real estate associates.<\/p>\nAs an Incline Village native, Sproehnle has a deep-rooted love for Lake Tahoe and everything it has to offer. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she ski raced at the collegiate level, Sproehnle\u2019s heart has always been in the mountains. She was drawn back to North Lake Tahoe after college, where she began a career in graphic design and marketing. Shortly after, she married her husband Rob, a lifelong resident of Squaw Valley, fellow ski racer and home builder.<\/p>\n
Together, with her husband, Sproehnle is a partner in the couple\u2019s general contracting business, where she has gained years of experience in construction. She leverages this background, as well as her connections in the trades, to offer additional value to her clients.<\/p>\n
Her extensive knowledge of the unique neighborhoods and communities\u00a0of the area, plus her marketing prowess and practical understanding of new home construction and remodeling are an effective blend in connecting buyers and sellers in the Tahoe\/Truckee market. She believes that the most important quality in any relationship\u2014be it professional or personal\u2014is listening and treating others with respect and care.<\/p>\n
Sproehnle loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, one who attends North Tahoe High School and the other, the University of Oregon. She is passionate about education and has volunteered countless hours at local schools and also as a past President and board member of the Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation for over 10 years. She has as extended family in Tahoe City, Truckee, Squaw Valley, Reno and Colorado.<\/p>\n
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Sproehnle has sailed extensively at Tahoe and the Bay Area, has coached skiing and soccer, and enjoys hiking with the family\u2019s furry sidekick Mac, as well as skiing, cooking, and curling up with a good crossword puzzle.<\/p>\n
