Kym Barton

Born and raised primarily in Calgary, Kym has been in the real estate industry for the past 15 years, 4 of those years selling new construction. After building her first home at 21, Kym developed a keen passion for real estate, and the process of buying and selling property. Through years of first-hand experience going through the building/purchase process and selling her own personal homes, Kym has a sensitivity towards her clients journey in real estate, and is known for her integrity, diligence, enthusiasm and client commitment throughout each real estate transaction.

Kym’s business is built on dedication, determination, communication and trust while embodying the ability to accommodate and adapt to all of her clients real estate needs. She utilizes her real estate market knowledge and negotiating skills when helping clients looking to purchase property. Whether it be their first home, a move-up purchase, “right sizing” or investment property, she has a highly focused approach. When helping clients with the sale of their property, Kym’s understanding of how to effectively market their home, along with her sharp attention to detail, helps clients get the most value for their home.

Understanding that buying and selling is one of the biggest decisions in her client’s life, Kym views representation of her clients through this process as a true privilege. She is attentive to her client's needs, generous in providing information and is committed to providing an exceptional client service experience.

Meeting new people and helping clients find the right house to call home is her passion. Her client dedication and love of helping others is what motivates her most. She prides herself on creating client relationships that turn into lasting friendships.

Prior to entering real estate, Kym thrived in a 10-year career in finance with CIBC in various areas including account management, mortgages, loans, audit and manager of client service. This finance knowledge compliments her real estate career and is beneficial to clients who need guidance on the financial aspect of purchasing or selling a property.

Although born in Calgary, Kym spent her elementary school years on Vancouver Island, in Victoria, and enjoyed easy access to the ocean and a bit of a slower pace of life. Kym relocated back to Calgary to finish up her education and embark on her finance career. When she's not immersed in real estate, Kym is travelling with her girls every chance she has, spending time in the mountains, hiking, or enjoying a cup of tea and a good book!
