Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Linda brings a different perspective to the Monument Sotheby's International Realty team. Having been transferred to Baltimore from the Washington, DC area, she knows what it is like to be new to a city, needing to find a home, the right schools for her children, financial institutions, service contractors, even places to shop. Thus, after thirteen years in education, she began her professional real estate career with a bang and was named "Rookie of the Year". In 1989 she qualified for and quickly became a Life member and recent board member of the Real Estate Million Dollar Association (REMDA) and has continued to receive awards for superior customer service and outstanding sales volume in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area. Since 2004, Linda has also been a participating member of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors Professional Standards and Ethics Committee. This committee ensures due process by conducting hearings to enforce Maryland's Code of Ethics and arbitrates disputes arising from the real estate business. Besides being active in real estate associations, Linda is very involved in the community. A former resident of Roland Park, Linda and her husband Paul have resided in the Greenspring Valley neighborhood for the past 26 years. They are active members of Saint Thomas Episcopal Church and supporters of the Valleys Planning Council, a group at the forefront of land use planning, promoting a balanced and rational use of land. Furthering their keen interest in land preservation, Linda became a founding board member and past President of the Greater Greenspring Association, a very active community organization formed to protect and preserve the valley. Linda is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a master's degree from the Johns Hopkins University. For thirty years she has served on the Executive Committee of the Maryland Chapter of the University of Virginia Alumni Association, two times as its President. For fifteen of those years, she also served as Maryland's Chair of the Jefferson Scholars Selection Committee. She remains active with both committees today. Expertise, dedication, integrity and passion for her work are what buyers and sellers have come to expect for 30 years of Linda's service to the real estate industry.
