In 1976, Diane and her husband, Jack, embarked on an adventurous journey, leaving behind their life in Boston and setting off in a van to search for the perfect ski area to call home. After exploring countless ski areas spanning the East and West Coasts, it became evident that the Yampa Valley and Steamboat Springs held an undeniable allure. In 1978, Jack obtained his broker license,
while Diane owned and ran Kinderhaus Family Center (an early learning center serving 60 children per day) for 15 years.

In 2004, Diane followed in Jack’s footsteps and obtained her brokers license as well. She has been with Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty since then and has remained a steadfast presence, intimately familiar with the company’s inner workings and the dynamic landscape of local Steamboat real estate.

Together, Diane and Jack have garnered numerous accolades, shining brightly in the industry. Their reputation is built upon a low-pressure approach, instilling a sense of ease and comfort in customers as they navigate the significant and costly investment of a lifetime. Beyond their professional pursuits, they revel in the activities that initially lured them from Boston: golfing, running, skiing, hiking, and conquering the majestic peaks of Colorado’s Fourteeners.

When Diane isn’t working real estate, she can often be found cherishing precious moments with her children and grandchildren. Alongside her beloved family, she and Jack wholeheartedly embrace the pursuits that define their vibrant lives, nurturing the core essence of what initially drew them to the captivating surroundings of Steamboat Springs.
