EXPERIENCE COUNTS ......Steve has developed his entire real estate career over the past 47+ years right here in Steamboat Springs. He has participated in more than 665 real estate transactions...and counting! Steve is a 1972 marketing graduate of the University of Kentucky. He formed his homeowner association and has served as a Director/Officer in that organization since 1984. Steve earned the certificate of Educational Achievement in Real Estate from the University of Colorado in 1980. He has served in numerous positions on the local Board of Realtors including Treasurer, Director, Professional Standards, MLS Committee, and the Chairperson of the Technology Committee. Steve has twice been honored by his peers as the Steamboat Springs Realtor of the Year in 1991 and 2008. He received the inaugural Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors Distinguished Contributor Award for 2017/2018. Steve earned inclusion in Steamboat Sotheby’s International Realty Global Summit in 2020; the Pinnacle Award in 2021, 2018 and 2017, and the Circle of Excellence Award in 2015 and 2016. Steve earned the Graduate Realtors Institute designation in 1980 and earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 1990. This designation is earned by less than 4% of all Realtors nationwide. Steve maintains a commitment to all phases of annual continuing education in our industry and conducts his business with the highest standards of Ethical Conduct. Steve and his wife, Pinky, enjoy camping, cross country/back country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, gardening, and travel. Steve is a Life Member of the National Eagle Scout Association, having earned his Eagle Scout rank in 1967.
