An extensive marketing and negotiating background with complex financial products coupled with a deep appreciation for design and architecture has made for a smooth transition into real estate; Lydia is a trusted guide for discerning clients through the competitive and nuanced D.C. and Maryland markets. She is known by her peers and colleagues for her authenticity, loyalty, sense of humor, and obsessive punctuality. Lydia was born and raised in Marin County, California and graduated cum laude from New York University with degrees in Journalism and Spanish. She is a lover of animals, travel, and the outdoors, which have taken her to the Galapagos Islands and beyond. She is an avid reader and enjoys cooking for friends, and shares her passion for wellness with the community by teaching Pilates Reformer classes around the area. She currently lives in Adams Morgan with her fiancee Chris while they renovate their next home in Columbia Heights.
