Katie Garcia

Katherine (Katie) Garcia is a first-generation daughter of two El Salvadoran natives. Born and raised in Silver Spring, MD, she is deeply connected to the Washington DC Metro Area. She graduated from American University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies with a minor in Marketing. This education combined the business knowledge and the design skills that have proven to be very valuable to her clients. Having worked for companies like Capital One Bank and Travelers Insurance prior to launching her real estate business, she gained the knowledge and formed the relationships that catapulted her into one of her most surprising, yet truest passions - real estate.

As a member of the TTR Sotheby’s International Realty team, Katie works with buyers, sellers, investors, and developers interested in buying or selling some of the area’s most coveted properties. Known for her extensive market knowledge, creative marketing tactics and unmatched devotion to clients, Katie consistently delivers results AND an enjoyable experience. She earns the respect of her clients by working tirelessly on their behalf and by being their most loyal and fiercest advocate. Katie is constantly feeding her river of knowledge so that she can be a great resource to her clients. She prides herself on her negotiation skills and getting clients to the settlement table in the most seamless way possible.

Katie had her first baby in June of 2021, an angel, who came into her life after the untimely death of her father who passed away of COVID-19. She enjoys spending time with her family, trying unique experiences, and traveling. Most recently, she traveled to England and Morocco – yes, with the baby!
