Mona Banes is a Senior Vice President at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty. She is a first generation Iranian-American (fluent in Farsi) and native of Northern Virginia.
Mona has overseen over $200 million worth of real estate transactions in the last five years, making her one of the top producing Realtors in the area. NOVA Real Producers has ranked Mona among the region’s top producing realtors year over year. She was a member of the 2020 Northern Virginia Association of Realtor’s (NVAR) Leadership Institute. Mona is featured in Washingtonian Magazine’s “Best of Washington” and Arlington Magazine’s “Best of Arlington”.
Mona combines her years of negotiation skills, local market knowledge, and analytical skills to approach every deal with the client’s best interests being her top priority.
Mona is a strong believer in giving back to her community. In 2016, she was awarded one of the Town of Vienna’s Mayor Volunteer Recognition awards for her participation with the Vienna Children’s Unity Classes.
Mona currently resides in McLean with her husband, Adam, a practicing attorney, and their son, Rayan. When she is not working, Mona loves to cook and try new recipes from various cultures. One of her passions is entertaining clients, friends, and her big Iranian family in her home.
