With more than twenty-three years in the real estate industry, as a realtor and certified residential appraiser, she confidently supports clients in the buying and selling process. Her experience includes a variety of transaction types including new homes, resale, foreclosed, short sale, reno, auctioned properties and residential land acquisitions augmented with housing market trend analysis and local planning & zoning knowledge.
Each real estate transaction is unique, and Theresa proves to be an invaluable resource to clients with making informed decisions, especially with waterfront property.Growing up on the water in Anne Arundel County, she was acutely aware of the lifestyle and resources the Chesapeake Bay provided which influenced her desire to work in the field of environmental land use planning. Theresa spent three years administering the Chesapeake and Coastal Bay Program for St. Mary’s County, and eight years in the environmental planning discipline as an American Institute Certified Planner. In addition to her work in residential real estate, she partnered with commercial developers, conducting feasibility for proposed development under the local comprehensive master plans, cost analysis and land acquisition.
Theresa’s personal time revolves around family, travel, and a lifelong love of horses. Having owned a horse farm and been a member of Howard County Iron Bridge Hounds, she supports Off Track Thoroughbred rescue and therapeutic riding programs.
