Mari grew up in the deep south of Texas within the Rio Grande Valley. She graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville and pursued a career in education. While working as an Educator for 24 years, Mari became an excellent listener, problem-solver and communicator. She is English as a Second Language (ESL) certified bilingual and a Dual Language teacher, which allowed her to teach academics in Spanish. Mari began to work as a Texas Mortgage Loan Officer for a short period. She now brings all of these skills and wealth of knowledge gained over the years to her work as a trusted real estate agent. Mari loves working with people and makes it her priority to ensure her clients feel heard and understood throughout the home buying and selling process. She uses her positive outlook and uplifting attitude to keep her clients informed while making the experience smooth and stress-free. She has three adult sons with her husband of 33 years, who is also her real estate partner at the Gonzalez Team.
